It's been awhile since I've blogged (doesn't everyone start their blog like this when they've been an absentee blogger). I have some cool topics to pick from.
Should I blog about my new venture into training with Power? No, save that for another day.
How about the correlation of CAT 4 crashes and me? No, season is not over yet and I don't want to jinx it.
A top 15 finish blog entry? No, it was a practice crit and I think I threw my bike at the line to get 14th while everyone else was sitting up so that doesn't deserve a blog entry.
What about how n Plus One just went n Minus Two? Yet another blog to come.
The Gumby Suit. Definitely a topic but will come later closer to cross season.
All those blog topics will come later but with the TdF climbing the mountains reminded me of a story I came across a few weeks ago. It's about 2 Kenyan cyclists that will race up Alpe d’Huez. Their goal is to finish within the top 10 times of the 2004 ITT of the TdF which was won by LA in a time of 39'41". The 10th spot finished the grueling time in 42’08”.
The Kenyan cyclists will make this ascent on August 11th and 18th.

Kenyan Duo Attempting Alpe D'HuezIt'll be interesting how they perform in the mountains without having trained in them before. Let's wait and see.
